Tree of Life Motif (vertical)

The Tree of Life symbol is born out of the ancient teachings of the Kabbalah. The Kabbalah is the mystical interpretation of the Old Testament, also known as the Torah. The Tree of Life symbol is referred to as the 'Sephirot', which is comprised of ten rays of light or Godly emanations. These emanations translate into human attributes. The 'Keter' is also known to as the "Crown of Glory" and is on the highest branch of the tree. Keter is the ultimate level which only the righteous (Tzadikim) can achieve. The seven lower Sephirot (or branches) include wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Throughout history, people have been aspiring to attain these attributes for thousands of years.
