The Classical style of our bathtubs is the original incarnation of the Sultan designs. It is an uncompromising vision of the traditional baths of the Sultans. A free standing clawfoot bathtub, the Classical is hand polished to a breathtaking, luminous golden finish in Sultan Bath's traditional eight step process. The Classical is truly a timeless, functional work of fine art.
The Neoclassical style of our bathtubs differs from the Classical design in only the outside surface finish. Being partially polished to the fourth of the eight stages, the Neoclassical carries an untouched beauty.
The Contemporary style of ourbathtubs sharesthe finish ofthe Classicalbut is designedto rest directlyon the bottomsurface of thetubverses beingsupported by the claw feet. This style reflects an understated, more subtle approach to design.
The Traditional style of our bathtubs is used in a drop-in application. The middle section will be tightly connected to the resting surface and will keep the bathtub stable, while the ends of the bathtub will be above the resting surface. The outer surface of the Traditional is polished to the fourth stage.

The Modern style shares the polish of the Classical and Contemporary styles and features the bathtub cradled on a solid bronze base, giving the Modern style a majestic footprint and the appearance of being one solid piece of bronze.

SULTAN BATH BRONZE FINISH
Our luxurious bronze finish requires a minimum of eight different stages of polishing to achieve the luminous golden finish. When the outside surface is hidden and will not be seen in the final installation of the bathtub, only four stages of polishingare done as a minimum requirement for the Sultan Bath bronze surface. In the first four stages of the polishing process, the artisans remove almost 90% of the copperthat is going to be removedwhether four or more stages of polishing are going to be performed. This represents approximately 70% of the polishing costitself, and 80% of the total polishing time. Therefore, the majority of the hand polishing isactuallyaccomplished in the first four stages. The last four stages are the most delicate and precise stages of the polishing process. It is during these final stages that the artisans are meticulously polishing the surface of the bathtub to bring the bronze to its absolute essence, which is ultimately achieved by exposing the inside core of the bronze. This yields the highest quality natural bronze finish.
WAXING OPTION
The Sultan Bath bronze finish is a natural finish that does not have any type of coating on the surface of the bronze. We use a different mineral in each polishing stage and the combination of the minerals that we have strategically chosen, gives our bathtubs and basins a natural seal and protection. To give the products in our bath and basin collections added protection, the option to have the bronze surface waxed is available at the factory with no additional fee. The wax coating is effective with daily use as it will allow the original finish of the bronze to last longer, thereby decreasing the amount of cleaning andcare required for the bronze.
OVERFLOW OPTION
The products in the Sultan Collectionhave not been originally designed with an overflow hole. The purchaser has the option, however, to have an overflow hole placed in the bathtub or basin. There is no additional fee for this modification. Prior to production, the purchaserselects the plumbing that will be used in the final installation of the bathtub or basin. That particular plumbing will be custom fit to the overflow hole and drain hole of the bathtub or basin at the factory.
